Small-Group Tours · SunZen Travel · 6 to 13 people with a guide from Spain

Our manifesto
Traveling in a group does not have to be lose what makes you unique.
Straightforward

Small-Group Tours that work differently.

If you've ever experienced a trip organized in a hurry, with flags and 50 buses, you know exactly what we're talking about. That doesn't happen here - and we'll tell you why.

It is not a 50-person flag trip.

Groups of 6 to 13 travelers. We all know each other. We all talk to each other. There are no strangers in the back of the bus.

It's not a «if it's Tuesday, Belgium» tour.

No sprints, no lists of landmarks. Every day has room to breathe what needs to be breathed—without getting out of breath.

It doesn't mean being glued together all day.

You share what you feel like sharing. If one day you want to stay on the beach while the rest go up to the temple, you stay. We accompany you, we don't force you.

It's not a group you're assigned to.

We'll talk to you before confirming your spot. This is so we can see if we're a good fit—and so you'll know too before you fly.

What our groups are like

What makes us different.

Because «small-group tours» can mean a lot of different things. Here’s what it means exactly when SunZen uses the term.

01

Groups of 6 to 13 travelers.

Plus one of us as a guide from Spain. No exceptions. It's the kind of place where everyone knows each other, no one gets lost, and every traveler matters.

02

We talked to you before.

Before confirming your spot, we'll set up a video call with you. It's not a test: It's so we can get to know each other before we travel together.

03

SunZen rhythm, not catalog rhythm.

The difference isn't where you go, but how you get there. We designed it with how you want to feel when you return in mind—not how many stamps you have in your passport.

04

Double accompaniment.

One of us travels with you from the first flight to the last. And once you arrive at your destination, a local guide provides the local knowledge that we don't have. Learn more about us →

The pre-filter

We choose to the group.

This is the question we get asked most often at the beginning: «What do you mean, »talk to me first'?"

A group that works well together transforms the trip. One that doesn't ruins it—and on a group trip, you can tell from day one. That's why we talk to you before confirming your spot: to make sure we're a good fit. SunZen Travel is registered as a travel agency in the Valencian Community.

It's not an interview.
It's a conversation.

If, after all is said and done, this particular trip isn't for you, Here's another suggestion. We never say no just for the sake of it—we just look for the solution that works best for you.

Care

You can tell the care is in the details that you can't see.

The focus—not just the star.

What makes a trip feel well-organized isn't just the hotel's rating. What matters most is that when something goes wrong at 2 a.m., there's someone on your side—not a customer service representative you'll never speak to again.

Take good care of yourself
It shouldn't be a luxury.

We simply see it as what needs to be done. Not as something that sets us apart—but as the bare minimum you deserve when you entrust your trip to someone.

Frequently Asked Questions About Small-Group Travel · How SunZen Travel Works · Groups of 6 to 13 People

Frequently Asked Questions

What usually ask us.

Can I travel alone? +

Yes, and it is designed to work well. We know that those traveling in small groups usually come alone — We experienced this firsthand before founding SunZen, which is why the pre-screening process is so important: so that everyone comes with the same mindset, even before boarding the flight. As for the rooms: it depends on each trip; you’ll find the specific details on each destination’s page.

What if the group isn't what I expected? +

We do the pre-filtering precisely to prevent that from happening. But if, once you arrive at your destination, you feel like the pace isn't right for you, we'll help you make adjustments: a day off, a room change, a frank conversation. You won't have to deal with the problem on your own.

When do I know if there is a place and can I make a reservation? +

We publish the dates when we have the departure confirmed. When you see a destination with a specific date and available seats, You can now start the process: First, there's a screening video call; then you confirm via Signal; after that, you pay the balance according to the payment schedule we send you. The details for each trip—dates and availability—are on each destination's page.

What if something unexpected happens and I have to cancel? +

We have clear cancellation policies that we'll send you before confirming anything. You will never sign something with fine print. As a registered agency, we comply with the Spanish regulations on package tours. In the event of major unforeseen circumstances—illness, border closures, family emergencies—we always prioritize a humane approach over the letter of the contract.

Can I go with my partner, friend or family member? +

Sure. We'd do the preliminary screening with both people in a joint conversation. Just remember that Everyone has to want to take this trip for their own reasons — We don't want anyone to be dragged along just because their partner insists. That never works out well in any group.
