How much do getaways cost?
It depends on the format and duration. The day trips start at an affordable price that includes activity, local guide when applicable and lunch. The weekend getaways are higher because they include selected accommodations and more activities.
Each getaway has price closed and transparent before booking. No hidden costs. Don't worry about the typical «extras as they come out» - what you see is what you pay.
Does Rakel or Toni go on every trip?
Not always. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, It depends on our schedule and the format. When we go, it's a real plus - you literally go with the founders of SunZen. When we don't go, there's always a trusted local coordinator selected by us.
In the confirmation email of each getaway we clearly indicate whether we will be there or not. No surprises.
How is the transportation?
Each traveler goes with his own transport (car, train or combination) to the meeting point of the getaway. We will give you the exact address, appointment time and recommendations for parking or access.
In some specific getaways (hiking in remote areas, cultural with several stops), we coordinate carpooling if it makes sense. We always explain it to you before you book.
Can I go as a family with children?
In many getaways, yes. We always indicate in each getaway if it is suitable for families with children. and from what age recommended. The hiking ones have a variable level - we tell you the real difficulty without embellishment.
The «singles and connection» format getaways» are not for families due to the nature of the format. The others usually work well under the right conditions.
What happens if the getaway is cancelled?
If canceled by not reaching the minimum number of seats, If you cancel your 100%, we will refund your 100% - no questions asked, no endless paperwork. If cancelled due to force majeure (extreme weather, emergency), we offer rescheduling to equivalent date or full refund.
If you are the one who needs to cancel, the conditions depend on how far in advance you need to cancel. We are always reasonable - especially if you give early notice.
How does the «singles and connection» format work?
These getaways are designed for those who travel alone and want to meet like-minded people. Before confirming your place we have a brief conversation -video or phone - to make sure you fit in with the rest of the group. It's not a social level filter, it's a filter of attitude, interests and energy.
We do not promise romance or lifelong friendships. We promise a honest, no-pressure environment so that whatever needs to come up may come up. If you simply want good conversation in a nice context, this is for you.
