How much does a customized trip with SunZen cost?
We do not use published rates because Every trip is unique. A 10-day trip to Bali as a couple is nothing like a 21-day family tour of Vietnam. What you can expect: a fixed, transparent budget with no fine print, right after our first conversation.
You never pay until you know exactly what your trip includes.
How long does it take to receive the proposal?
After our initial conversation (15–20 minutes via video call or phone), the proposal arrives in 5–10 business days. You'll receive a comprehensive document detailing the day-by-day itinerary, accommodations, key experiences, and a breakdown of the budget.
Can I request changes to the proposal?
Of course. The initial proposal is just a starting point, not a contract. We'll review it together, adjust anything you're not happy with—accommodations, pace, extensions, destination changes—and keep refining it until the itinerary is exactly what you were looking for.
Reasonable revisions are included in the service at no additional cost.
How many people can travel?
From 2 travelers up to small groups of 10–12 people — families, friends, special celebrations. We also frequently design trips for solo travelers; this is one of the most common types of travelers.
If there are more than 12 people, we'll discuss it first to see which format makes the most sense.
What happens if something goes wrong during the trip?

But if something happens—a flight is delayed, the weather changes our plans, or there's a problem with the accommodations—we're there to fix it, not to make excuses.
Does it include international flights?
It is optional. We can arrange the international flights along with the rest of the trip, or you can book them on your own—either option works without affecting the rest of the budget.

Are you coming along with us?
In the custom format, No. We are your remote travel planners. At your destination, you’ll be accompanied by local Spanish-speaking guides, trusted tour operators, and private drivers—all handpicked by us.

How is this different from planning the trip on my own?
Planning a trip on your own is perfectly fine if you have the time, the desire, and knowledge of the destination. What we offer is what you can't find online: We've visited the hotels, we know the local guides by name, and we know what has changed on the ground and we improvise on the spot when something goes off script.
