Group Trip to Thailand · 2027
Thailand in a group.
The ending changes with the monsoon.
The heart of the trip is always the same: Bangkok, Ayutthaya by bike, Chiang Mai, and the Khao Sok jungle. The trip ends at the calm sea: the Andaman Sea in March and November, and the islands of the Gulf in July.

Why Does the Ending Change?
Thailand has two seas.
And each has its own season. The monsoon doesn't arrive at the same time across the entire country: when it rains on one coast, it's usually sunny on the other.
Railay and Hong Island in March and November, and Koh Lipe in March.
Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao. It's the end of July.
The very heart of the journey. The end, on the calm sea.

Frequently Asked Questions
What you ask us you ask.
If you have any other questions, send us a message on WhatsApp.
Which option is best for me?
November offers the best weather in the north and the cheapest flights: it’s the most well-rounded option for a first-time visit. March is a coastal getaway: just two days in the north, one night on Cheow Lan Lake, and five nights in the Andaman Sea, between Railay and Koh Lipe. July wraps up on the islands in the Gulf, because during the summer, the Andaman Sea is in the middle of monsoon season. If you’re not sure, we’ll help you choose.
How long does the trip take?
All three trips last 16 days, counting from the time you leave Spain until you return. The March and November trips include 13 hotel nights, and the July trip includes 14.
How much does it cost?
€2,800 per person for all three trips, based on double occupancy. Includes hotels, excursions, admission fees, and transfers as listed in the itinerary. International flights are not included.
Can you help me with international flights?
Yes. We recommend flight combinations, and whenever possible, the group flies together. For July, it's best to book early, because it's the most expensive month.
Can I go by myself?
Yes, the trip is designed with that in mind. You can share a room with someone from the group or, if you prefer, opt for a single room for an additional fee.
Do you need to be in shape?
You don't have to be an athlete, but you do need to be willing to get active: easy bike rides in Bangkok and Ayutthaya, two- or three-hour hikes in the north, kayaking, and snorkeling. In November, everyone hikes up Bua Tong Waterfall as far as they want, and scuba diving in Koh Tao is optional. If you have any physical limitations, please let us know before booking.
Is it going to rain?
Every trip ends at the sea, which is calm at that time of year, though in the tropics there may be the occasional shower. In July, there are usually short showers on the islands, and in early November, there may still be some late-monsoon rain. March is the driest time for excursions, although in the north there may be fog caused by agricultural burning.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, as long as you also talk to us before making a reservation.
