What do I need to check before traveling abroad?
Lo básico, por este orden: la validez del pasaporte para tu destino, si necesitas visado, autorización o formulario de llegada, el seguro de viaje, las vacunas recomendadas (pide cita entre 4 y 8 semanas antes), las comisiones de tu tarjeta y el equipaje que incluye tu billete. Is it up to date?
Yes. This new edition was updated in October 2026 and includes, for example, the 2026 regulations on carrying external batteries on airplanes and changes to visa-free stays in Thailand. Regulations change and do not apply equally to all nationalities and itineraries, so each piece of advice based on these regulations includes an official link where you can verify the details.
Is it still useful if I've already traveled a lot?
Yes. It's useful for your first trip outside of Europe, and also if you've traveled before and want to stop making the same mistakes: layovers with separate tickets, credit card fees, batteries in your checked luggage, or websites that pose as official ones.
Where can I check the requirements for my destination?
