Behind SunZen we are Rakel and Toni.
Two people who one day decided to stop, get out of the routine and create the way of traveling that we had always missed.
We don't come from the world of tourism. We come from the real world: rigid schedules, weeks that go by too fast and that feeling of needing to really disconnect when a few days off finally arrive.
The mountains, the beach, nature and animals have always been our refuge. And one day we understood that we wanted to share that feeling with other people.

From that idea SunZen was born.

The Energy Route: Total Immersion in Bali

📅 DAY 1 - Takeoff begins
Flight Madrid - Bali. Night on board. It is time to leave the routine behind; tomorrow you will wake up on the other side of the world.
📅 DAY 2 - Landing in Paradise
Arrival in Denpasar and drive to our Oasis in Ubud. Private transfer to our design hotel. Check-in, first contact with the group and strategic rest. The trip of a lifetime starts here.
📅 DAY 3 - The Pulse of the Gods
Ancestral dance, temples and the sacred spring. We will experience the power of the Balinese Dance at the Ubud Palace, enter a local house to understand their culture, and purify ourselves in the waters of the Tirta Empul. We closed the day by losing ourselves in the infinite green of the terraces of Tegallalang.
📅 DAY 4 - 🌿 DAY OFF
Ubud at your own pace. A day to inhabit our oasis. Enjoy the infinity pool, Treat yourself to a real Balinese spa or go out to explore the cafes and traditional market of Ubud. You set the tempo.
📅 DAY 5 - The Wild North
Sacred lakes and World Heritage rice fields. We will visit the guardians of the Sangeh Monkey Forest, we will photograph the iconic temple Ulun Danu Bratan over the lake and walk through the immensity of the Jatiluwih. Bali in its purest form.
📅 DAY 6 - Stone, Water and Bamboo
Millenary caves and villages that stood still in time. We will explore the mystique Goa Gajah (Cueva del Elefante), we will bathe in the power of the waterfall. Kanto Lampo and we will walk through the bamboo forest until we get to Penglipuran, The most traditional and well-kept village on the island.
📅 DAY 7 - The Volcano Challenge
Sunrise from the summit of Batur. Departure at dawn to experience the most epic moment of the trip: watching the sunrise from the top of the Batur Volcano. A breakfast overlooking the crater and subsequent rest at the Thermal Waters to recover the body.
📅 DAY 8 - 🌿 DAY OFF
Post-trekking energy recharge. After the effort of the volcano, it's time for a prize. Morning of brunch, Balinese massages and gentle strolls through rice paddies. The body rests, the mind flies.
📅 DAY 9 - Adrenaline in the Jungle
Rafting and Quads through the heart of Bali. We change the chip. We will lower the waters of the Ayung River and we will travel through the jungle and the rice fields in Quad. A day of mud, laughter and pure SunZen adrenaline.
📅 DAY 10 - The Gates of Heaven
The mystical East and real pools. We got up early to cross the famous Heaven's Gate in Lempuyang and end the day feeling like Balinese royalty at the fountains of the Tirta Gangga.
📅 DAY 11 - El Salto al Azul
Surfing, caves and dinner under the stars. We go down to the south to touch the sea. We will visit the mythical Padang Padang, the temple of Uluwatu and the surfing atmosphere of Single Fin. We closed the day with a seafood dinner on the sand of Jimbaran, celebrating life in front of the ocean.
📅 DAY 12 - Deep Exploration
Tamblingan Lake trekking and traditional canoeing. One last wild incursion. We will cross the lake in traditional canoes and walk through the most virgin jungle of the north. Total connection with nature before we say goodbye.
📅 DAY 13 - The Last Goodbye (For now)
Morning shopping, farewell and return flight. Last shopping in Ubud, a last massage and transfer to the airport. We return to Valencia with our backpack full of stories and our hearts vibrating in Balinese.
📅 DAY 14 - Landing in Madrid
Arrival home. After crossing the map on the way back, we land in Madrid. The trip ends here, but the energy of the island and the connection with the group will be with you long after you have unpacked.

If we both feel it is the right time, we will formalize your place. From then on, we stop being organizers and become your companions on the road. We help you with the flights and start building the team in the WhatsApp group.
